Space Walk: Ottawa-Carleton Educational Space Simulation

Photo:  Exploring the caves in Saturn's moon Hyperion.

Come visit the Ottawa Carleton Educational Space Simulation and see what makes a space mission run. Take a tour through the OCESS room at the 440 Albert Street Education Centre and walk through the caves of Saturn's moon Hyperion!  From mission control on Earth, to a spaceship speeding between the planets, to the interior of an alien moon: take a walk into outer space and back again.

You can learn more about the 'Spacesim' project here.

We'll be indoors at 440 Albert St.  To find the Spacesim project, come through the courtyard opposite the bus stop.

Jim Magwood is a high school science teacher at Lisgar Collegiate Institute and the teacher advisor to the student-run Ottawa Carleton Educational Space Simulation.
